This study presents a summary of the benefits of implementing the IPPC, international standards for phytosanitary measures (ISPMs) and recommendations made by the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM). Amongst others, it includes a review of the benefits of collaboration between the IPPC and CBD, specifically in achieving Aichi Biodiversity Target 9 for invasive species.
