Expert workshop to roll-out the Data Reporting Tool for MEAs - DaRT in Tanzania (13. - 17. June, 2022)

Today, we successfuly concluded the expert workshop "Roll-out of the Data Reporting Tool for MEAs DaRT in Tanzania".

The NFPs to the CITES, CMS, Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, UNCCD, CBD CHM, CBD CEPA, and the Nairobi Convention were trained on using DaRT and discussed strengthening collaboration on managing and sharing information on the implementation of MEAs, including the Post2020 global biodiversity framework, with experts from the Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Natural Resources and from the Scientific Community.

Participants identified measures to strengthen collaboration and cooperation for a synergistic implementation of MEAs and adopted an action plan with specific steps and responsibilities for implementing DaRT.
