The Red List Index of Ecosystems (RLIE) measures trends in risk of ecosystem collapse for sets of ecosystems, using data from the Red List of Ecosystems criteria and categories. It is based on the proportion of ecosystems in each Red List risk category and was designed to complement the Red List Index of species survival.
